Some is used in positive statements, or in questions where we are sure about the answer:
- I had some pastas for lunch.
- Did he give you some coca? (= I'm sure he did.)
- Is there some coca in the fridge? (= I think there is)
- Could I have some cds, please?
- Would you like some cds?
Any is used in questions and with not in negative statements:
- Have you got any fruit juice?
- He didn't give me any fruit juice.
